| Mary C. Koenig, Founder
Mary's career as a corporate human resources executive spanned 18 years and included senior leadership positions in both the pharmaceutical and consumer products sectors, with specific expertise in talent management, leadership and executive development and organizational design/effectiveness. She held a number of positions at Schering-Plough Corporation culminating in her role as Vice President, Human Resources for the US Pharmaceutical business in support of 6,000 employees and nearly $6 Billion in sales. During a period of consolidation, rapidly intensifying competition and significant changes within the healthcare marketplace, she led several key organizational change and development initiatives including creating the first leadership development programs and launching satellite new business start-ups and subsidiaries from inception to full, profitable operation. Mary previously held positions in Human Resources with PepsiCo and Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corporation. Mary holds a B.A. in Industrial Psychology from The University of Connecticut. She serves as a Board Member for the New Jersey State Office of Literacy Volunteers of America and is a member of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association. She currently resides in New Jersey. |
Prior
to founding Koenig & Associates, LLC, Mary was the Founder and
Managing Director of the Life Sciences practice for a boutique executive
search firm. As founder of the newly-created practice, Mary developed
the vision, strategy and business plan, and built the Life Sciences
platform, leading significant national executive search assignments
for pharmaceutical and biotech organizations and fulfilling key
hires across a multitude of disciplines including Commercial Operations,
Sales and Marketing, Medical Affairs and Human Resources.
